Day 01: Australia to Delhi
Today, board your international flight to India’s capital, Delhi!
Day 02: Arrive Delhi
Arrive at Delhi International Airport and be met by your representative who will transfer you to your hotel where on arrival, receive a traditional Indian welcome and early check-in.
Day 03: Delhi
After breakfast enjoy guided sightseeing of New & Old Delhi. Drive past the Red Fort Palace before reaching Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India built with red sandstone. Enjoy an included cycle rickshaw experience, visiting the famous Khari Baoli (spice market), Dariba Kalan (famous for silver and gold jewellery) before reaching Kinari Bazar, a specialised street visited for festival or any other preparation for an occasion or function. Later visit the Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. Conclude your day with a visit to Qutub Minar; one of the most important landmarks of Delhi. This evening come together for a Welcome Dinner. (B,D)
Day 04: Delhi – Agra
Today we make our way to Agra, home to India’s famous landmark, the Taj Mahal. Enjoy a visit to Agra Fort and Mehtab Bagh in time for a wonderful Sunset. This garden is known for a picture-perfect view of the Taj Mahal. On return to your accommodation stop at a local Petha Shop to taste famous local sweets made of white pumpkin that is native to Agra. Day 05: Agra – Ranthambhore
This morning we visit the Taj Mahal, the epitome of love. Take time to experience this wonderful building and surrounds. After, we travel to Ranthambhore wildlife sanctuary, known for its tigers and one of the best places in India to see these animals in their natural habitat. Enjoy an excursion to Dhonk Village, a very special endeavour set up in Ranthambhore National Park to train woman from the local community in making attractive handicrafts using traditional techniques. Day 06: Ranthambhore
Enjoy an early morning game drive around the national park travelling in a jeep/canter. The park is dotted with steep rocky hills and the dominating architecture of Ranthambhore Fort adds to its landscape. The rugged park terrain alternates between dry and deciduous forest, open grassy meadow, dotted by several lakes and rivers that are only made passable by rough roads built and maintained by the Forest Service. On return to your accommodation enjoy a well-deserved breakfast, with the remainder of the day at leisure. (B,D)
Day 07: Ranthambhore – Jaipur
Today, journey to Jaipur, the first planned city of India. Jaipur is a treasure trove of culture, art and history, famous for its colour, lifestyle and Rajasthani cuisine. On arrival the remainder of the day is at leisure. This evening visits a local Indian family for the celebration of Diwali. A festival of lights that honours the Hindu Deity, Lord Rama’s victory over the Satan, King Ravana. Today, local residents all over India decorate their homes with clay lamps, or diyas, on Chotti Diwali, to welcome Goddess Lakshmi. New clothes are purchased, prayers are offered, homes are illuminated with lights & Diyas while firecrackers are burnt, and families share a plentiful feast together. Experience a traditional welcome by the family, an authentic Indian feast and dine on a selection of dishes accompanied by rice, Indian bread, salad, curd and pickle followed by desserts. When darkness falls, watch a fireworks display illuminate the skyline and join the celebration as locals spark firecrackers in the streets. Gifts will be given to each guest as a token of remembrance. (B,D)
Day 08: Jaipur
Enjoy guided sightseeing of Jaipur. Visit the majestic Amber Fort the former ancient capital of Jaipur state built by Raja Man Singh, the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army. Later visit the City Palace Museum before immersing yourself in the traditional art of henna painting and traditional Rajasthani turban tying. Later, travel to a local restaurant and enjoy a traditional dance performance and puppet show, followed by a sumptuous dinner. (B,D)
Day 09: Jaipur – Jodhpur
Travel to Jodhpur also known as the Blue City of India. Experience the feeling of travelling back in time, while you catch a glimpse of the splendour and magnificence of this ancient desert city built on the edge of the Thar Desert. Enjoy the rest the day at leisure, maybe take time to visit some of the local bazaars. (B,D)
Day 10: Jodhpur
Proceed for a jeep safari to Bishnoi village, a rural Rajasthani village to experience the Bishnoi tribe. On return to Jodhpur enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B,D)
Day 11: Jodhpur – Udaipur
Enjoy guided sightseeing of Mehrangarh Fort; one of the largest forts in India. En-route to Udaipur visit Ranakpur Jain Temple with intricately carved marble Pillars and Domes, Ranakpur is amongst the five holiest places of the Jain community and exceptional in beauty. Continue your drive to Udaipur where on arrival the rest of the time is at leisure before dinner. (B,D)
Day 12: Udaipur
Today, take a guided tour of the Lake City visiting the City Palace, Jagdish Temple and Museum. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Pichola, an artificial freshwater lake, created in the year 1362 AD. The rest of the evening you may like to explore on your own, visiting the numerous shops that dot the narrow windings streets of Udaipur for souvenirs before coming together for a Farewell Dinner. Day 13: Udaipur – Delhi
Today you will be transferred to Udaipur Airport for your onward journey. (B)

Price: The advertised price is in Australian Dollars, no surcharges in regard to cost or currency fluctuations will be made once deposit is received. Booking, Deposit & Final Payment: A non-refundable deposit of $750 per person is due within 7 days of booking. Full balance is due no later than 100 days prior to departure.
Cancellations: The following cancellation fees will apply; 100 days or more before departure – loss of deposit, 99-61 days prior to departure – 50% of package price, 60 days or less – 100% of package price. All cancellations must be received in writing and are not effective until this notification has been received.
Group Conditions: A minimum number of passengers are required to operate this tour. Should minimum passenger numbers not be met we will review the operation of this tour, and additional costs may apply.
